Talent Show Opportunity

Hey Leos,

The District is having its Talent Show this year on Saturday, March 28th from 3-5 P.M. in the Diamond Bar High School Theater (21400 E. Pathfinder Rd., Diamond Bar, CA 91765). Even though we are still in the middle of attaining the theater (85% sure that we'll get it), please be ready to perform (if you choose to perform). This year, THERE IS NO RESTRICTION ON THE PERFORMENCES. All acts are welcome, including stand-up comedy, breakdancing, solving Rubik's cubes, etc. The goal of the night is to not only bring Leos in District 4-L-4 together but also showcase our talents with our Leo family.

Admission is $5 and all proceeds will be given to the Orphanages of Thailand, which is Lions sponsored. Performers do not need to pay for admission, however, donations are gladly appreciated. In addition, prizes will vary depending on the number of participants (performers and non-performers) , so encourage all your Leo friends to come!

Sign-ups for acts begin today and will be open until Friday, March 20th. Sign up with me if you would like to "perform". Remember, your act can be anything; even if it's a quriky, little "advertisement" :) For more information, feel free to contact me via e-mail.

How is everyone doing!? I hope you guys are all doing well. Our next Ronald Mcdonald House is coming up Next Saturday on March 14th! We are going to help serve breakfast from 8 to 11 AM! :) its not too too early! you guys all wake up at 7 to go to school too! it will be lots of fun making breakfast for the guests at the Ronald Mcdonald House! :) Please let me know if you are interested in volunteering!

ICE-SKATING SOCIAL

Join your fellow Leos from Walnut, Diamond Bar, and other schools. 4 Hours of funn (:

Date: Saturday, December 13th, 2008
Time: 5:30 to 9 PM
Location: Anaheim Ice Ice-Skating Rink
300 W. Lincoln Ave. Anaheim, CA 92805
Cost: $15 for skate rental and dinner

The dinner that's provided in the $15 is going to be from Jack-in-the-Box I believe..I'm pretty sure it's optional so if you don't want to eat there you can just not pay for that part and just pay for your skates. Only 22 people can get dinner so you have to let me know whether you want dinner there or not. Also, if you have your own ice-skates, you can bring your own and not pay that part of the fee too. I'm not sure what just the admission price is though, but there will be people there to tell us.
